Through this collaboration, Axiomtek seamlessly integrates Qualcomm's cutting-edge technology with its ARM-based embedded solutions, paving the way for innovative developments in the embedded computing landscape. The SCM140 is crafted to empower a diverse IoT application at the edge, offering exceptional performance, cutting-edge connectivity, and advanced AI capabilities, particularly in Robot or AMR applications.

This groundbreaking module will provide our customers with a comprehensive industrial solution that delivers exceptional performance, advanced connectivity, and on-device AI capabilities,” said Ken Pan, product manager of the RISC Product Department at Axiomtek.
The SCM140 delivers powerful connections and computing performance and is purpose-built for AI-driven tasks. In addition to its robust octa-core CPU configuration, it boasts exceptional camera input capabilities via MIPI-CSI connections and USB 3.2 ports, featuring a high-performing triple-ISP for an advanced dual-camera experience with up to 192MP capture. Additionally, it facilitates multi-display setups with one 4K60 HDMI and one dual-channel LVDS. The powerful SCM140 offers a comprehensive range of I/O interfaces, including GbE LAN, USB, COM, GPIO, and I2C, for advanced network and peripheral connections. The PCIe interface for expansion is also included. Furthermore, the SCM140 can withstand a wide range of operating temperatures, from -25°C to 75°C, making it suitable for operation in harsh industrial environments. It supports the Ubuntu 20.04 operating system and provides an optional onboard TPM module for enhanced IoT security.
